Coral Twists

Business case: To create a free-to-play game that brings players back daily. It should include some strategy and be designed to reward loyal players. The game should also be easy to understand and quick to play.

Project role: UX / UI Designer.
Understanding the product

During the initial stages we held brainstorming workshops to determine the game mechanics and gain a better understanding of the business goals.
Wireframes

Wireframes were then created to understand how the product will work within the app and establish the best user journeys.
UI / Branding

After the wireframes and game mechanics were finalised I then had to work on the branding and UI for the product. I experimented with logo designs based around the idea of playing cards which related to the product and also taking the word 'twists' to create a wordmark. The front and back of the playing cards were also required along with background images.
I began the process with rough sketches for a logo and then presented 3 concepts to the stakeholders. I also explored potential card designs based on tradition playing card styles and designs more in line with the Coral brand.
