Project overview

During my time at IBT Media I was responsible for delivering a full set of stationery and brand guidelines for IBTimes, IBTailored and the newly launched Newsweek International. A new logo lockup for Newsweek International was also required along with a new masthead for the publication.

Objectives

Create cohesive and consistent stationery for the 3 brands.

Create a comprehensive brand guidelines as a reference for their marketing and design teams to use for future assets.

Business Cards

Below are examples of some of the initial business card designs for Newsweek. I introduced a diagonal line as a new graphical element that is based on the angle from the character 'N' in the wordmark. The use of a diagonal was applied throughout the other assets.

Final Stationery Designs
Brand Guidelines

Examples of some of the pages included in the guidelines.

PowerPoint Template

The design of the template used the Diagonal element and each header slide used black and white photography of a major city in the World and the 'N' from the wordmark was overlaid to create and interesting composition.
